Dear Friend,
Lent is just around the corner (Ash Wednesday is on March 5). I always promise myself to slow down during Lent, to spend more time in deepening my spirituality, but I'm not always successful. This year I've decided to be more intentional and actually reserve time on my calendar. Will this work for you, too? Take a look at your calendar now, before Lent starts, and schedule some time. Maybe you're free for an hour of meditation at the Stations of the Cross. Maybe it just 4 minutes a day to read through the Gospel of Luke - that's all the time it would take to read all 24 chapters. If you schedule 10 minutes, you have time to continue the story through the Acts of the Apostles! And don't forget to put the Parish Mission on the evening of March 30 on your calendar as well.
Perhaps putting it on my calendar will encourage me to be more intentional this Lent.

This year, we welcome Angela Scaperlanda Bujan of Resilience Land (https://resilience.land/)
Angela’s experience with resilience came at the young age of 15 when her mom tragically died in a car accident. She relied heavily on her Christian Catholic faith to find meaning and strength amid her devastating loss. Her resilience was further tested when her first born son, Nathan, died in her arms after living 40 meaning-filled hours. After experiencing such devastating loss, she teamed with a colleague to develop the Resilience Tree™ model.
Angela completed her training in spiritual direction at the Siena Center in Racine, Wisconsin, and holds both a bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University and a master’s in Intercultural Communication and Administration from the School for International Training in Brattleboro, Vermont.
