As we continue the journey through Lent, we wanted to highlight two special opportunities that are coming up that we hope you might avail yourself towards.
The first is our special Lenten Taize Prayer service this coming Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 7:00pm in our main church. It is a time of prayer filled with music and art that can provide a deep sense of respite in your spiritual life.
The next is to participate in the parish tradition of a Lenten Mission on Sunday, March 30, 2025 and Monday, March 31, 2025. We traditionally do our Lenten Mission in partnership with Saint Benedict parish and this year have the blessing of welcoming Angela Scaperlanda Bujan to be with us for two evenings of prayer and dialogue around the spiritual gift of resilience. Anyone who has been through a difficult time at home, at work, or in your spiritual life will find great comfort and guidance in the wisdom and insight that Angela brings. Please make plans to join us for one or both nights of the parish mission!

Taizé Prayer Service
As we journey through the sacred season of Lent, we invite you to join us for a special Taizé prayer service on March 26, 2025, at 7:00 PM in the church.
This service will offer a serene and contemplative atmosphere, enriched with meditative chants, scripture readings, and silent prayer. It is an opportunity to deepen our spiritual connection and prepare our hearts for the celebration of Easter. We hope you can join us for this peaceful and spiritually nourishing experience.
Parish Fish Fry - April 11
The second of two parish Lenten Fish Frys will be Friday, April 11, 2025 from 5 to 8pm. All orders are served with fries and coleslaw. The event is BYOB, but soda and cake are available for purchase. Make plans to bring your friends and family to this wonderful parish tradition. Enjoy live music, a balloon artist, and the comradery of your friends and neighbors! Pre-purchase your meal now!
Holy Items For Sale - April 5 & 6
We are excited that we will be hosting Blest Art, a retailer of sacred items from the Holy Land on April 5 & 6, 2025 in the back of our church. They will be selling hand-carved nativity sets, statues, crosses, rosaries, and many other pieces of beautiful olive wood art. These are ideal gifts for loved ones at Easter, First Communion, and upcoming graduations. They gladly accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. Thank you for supporting them!

Special Request for Help
For the Joint Parish Mission, Saint Andrew and Saint Benedict Parishes will need to house our guest speaker, Angela Scaperlanda Bujan on the evenings of Sunday, March 30 and Monday, March 31.
We are actively seeking a generous individual who can donate acquired travel points at a hotel for to stay at a hotel nearby and/or anyone who manages an airbnb and could donate the housing for her to stay. Please contact David at david@standrew.org if you can assist.
