We are eager to celebrate this glorious occasion with you—whether at the Easter Vigil this evening at 8:30 PM (please note there is no 4:00 PM Mass today) or tomorrow morning at 9:00 AM or 11:00 AM (there will be no 5:00 PM Mass tomorrow). As always, you are also welcome to join our Sunday morning live stream at 9:00 AM or watch it later at your convenience.
As we rejoice in Christ’s resurrection, we do so in the midst of an important transition. This past week, it was announced that our pastor, Fr. Sergio Romo, has been appointed as the new pastor of Saint Gertrude Parish in Edgewater, effective July 1, 2025. (Read the full announcement in this weekend's online bulletin). We are deeply grateful for the 16 years of devoted leadership Fr. Sergio has provided to Saint Andrew, and we know that his wisdom and experience will be a tremendous blessing to his new parish.
Easter reminds us of the grandeur of God's design. It is the ultimate transition—from death to new life, from the darkness of sin to the light of salvation—built upon the foundation of another great transition: the Passover, when the Israelites moved from slavery in Egypt to freedom. Through every moment of change, God remains ever-present, accompanying us with unwavering love. Whether we face anxiety in our families, workplaces, communities, or personal lives, or even our parish, we can trust in God's presence, leading us toward the fullness of life.
Easter is our eternal hope.

Get a Portrait Photo Taken!
Saint Andrew is holding portrait photography session for our upcoming parish and school photo directory. These sessions are free and everyone who participates will receive a free 8 x 10 photo as well as have the option to purchase other photos and printed items. For participating, you'll also receive a free copy of the photo directory when it is completed. Participants must reserve their time for the photo session and we are currently registering families and individuals for June 4 - 7. Children's Garage Sale
Save the date for this year's Children's Garage Sale on Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 8am - 12pm. This event will be held in the Saint Andrew Gymnasium at 1658 West Addison (corner of Addison and Paulina). Donation days and times are set. Start cleaning out your closets, garages, attics and storage units now! If you'd like to be volunteer or help coordinate this event please reach out to Julie Richards at julie@standrew.org.
