Dear Friend,
When you enter Saint Andrew Parish this weekend, you will notice a very odd thing that only happens once in a very long time with circumstances that are very unpredictable.
We have adorned the church with the glorious flowers of our ongoing Easter celebration at the same time we have placed black bunting on the church in commemoration of Pope Francis (as is customary after the death of church leader).
The mixture may seem to clash at first view, but not from the eyes of faith.
As people of faith we do not shudder from the grief of losing someone dear to us because we rejoice in the promise of Christ's rising from the dead. So even as we actively mourn the loss of Pope Francis, we actively celebrate the ongoing hope of Easter.
We hope you will join us this weekend and also during the customary period of mourning. We will remember him every day at 9:00am in the coming week with daily Mass in the church. Please join us!

Get a Portrait Photo Taken!
Saint Andrew is holding portrait photography session for our upcoming parish and school photo directory. These sessions are free and everyone who participates will receive a free 8 x 10 photo as well as have the option to purchase other photos and printed items. For participating, you'll also receive a free copy of the photo directory when it is completed. Participants must reserve their time for the photo session and we are currently registering families and individuals for June 4 - 7. The online portal for registration is not open at the same time registrations will take place in the back of church (Sunday Mass times).
Children's Garage Sale
This year's Children's Garage Sale is on Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 8am - 12pm. This event will be held in the Saint Andrew Gymnasium at 1658 West Addison (corner of Addison and Paulina). Start cleaning out your closets, garages, attics and storage units now! If you'd like to be volunteer or help coordinate this event please reach out to Julie Richards at julie@standrew.org.
REBOOT: Update Your Spirituality
We are actively looking for a few more people to join our 6-week spirituality program entitled REBOOT: Update Your Spirituality. The participant will meet on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm. If you need to start learning, need a booster, or just a refresher on the Catholic Church's trove of spiritual treasure, join us for this program.
