Our second Parent-Child Joint Meeting will be held this Sunday, October 5, 2025 at 10:05am. Please join me for the parents' meeting in the Auditorium after dropping off your child(ren) for their in-person class at 10:00am.

**** IMPORTANT NOTE **** - the entrance to the Auditorium has changed. The door on Hermitage is now an automatic-locking door that should not be propped open. Instead, you will enter through either of the doors to the chapel that are facing Paulina street. From there a sign will point you to go up the stairwell toward the Auditorium. Look for the signs that will be placed at the doors and in the chapel.

These meeting/sessions are part of our program's aim in order to help you guide the at-home portion of our program with your child. During the meeting, I will ask the parents, in attendance, to pick up the at-home guide packet of the current Unit. This packet will be used to assist you with the at-home sessions during the month of November.

If you are not able to join us in person, a Webinar Experience will be offered next week that will serve as a make up and a means for delivering to you the at-home guide packets.

**** Another Special Note **** The Saint Andrew Family Mass coming up on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at 9:00am is reserved for participation from the students of our Religious Education program. If your child would like to be a reader or to carry up the gifts during Mass, please sign up using the sign up form below. This is a great way for students who are in the second year of Confirmation to complete their service to the Church if they have not already done so.

Grades Kinder to 6th will have an in-person class this Sunday, November 2, 2025 at 10:00am at Saint Andrew School.

7th grade program will meet on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at 3:30pm-4:45pm in the auditorium as part of their religious education class. We will cover Chapter 6.

8th grade program will have their Service Project on Saturday, November 1, 2025

from 8:00am-11:30am. They will have in-person classes on Sunday, November 2, 2025 from 6:00pm-7:15pm in the auditorium as part of their confirmation class.

All Saints and All Souls

All Saints Day is celebrated on Saturday, November 1, 2025. Mass will be celebrated in the main church at 9:00am.

All Souls Day is the day we remember all our beloved dead. This year, the solemnity falls on Sunday, November 2, 2025 which means that all Sunday Masses will celebrate the solemnity. In a particular way, we will honor those who have died in in the parish during the past year at the 9:00am Mass on Sunday, November 2.

Parishioners are invited to bring photos of loved ones who have died to place on our altar of remembrance. Their names will be called out and candles will be lit for them during the Mass. If you would like a name and photo included and are not able to attend the Mass, please email david@standrew.org who will include the remembrance on your behalf.

If a parent cannot attend the meeting in person, the parent should complete the webinar that will be distributed by email next week. The parent should then download the at-home guide for Unit 2, and review chapter 6 with their child.

I find it best if you put your own email into the online form first and then forward the email that you will receive from Loyola Press to us at re@standrew.org. That way, you will know that the results was sent to us. (Please be advised that emails from Loyola Press may go straight to your “junk” or “spam” folder. So don’t forget to check them too.)
