It feels like we have a brief and quiet pause just before the flurry of activities will launch that mark the holiday season. This week's e-bulletin (and online bulletin) are a chance to make mental note before the holidays begin on the ways that Saint Andrew can accompany you through the many joys of the season.
- Make sure to complete your Stewardship Commitment for 2026 by prayerfully reflecting on how you might share your gifts with Saint Andrew in the year ahead. Complete the commitment form and return it in the collection at Mass or complete the form online.
- If you are here for Thanksgiving, be sure to join us for Mass at 9:00am to start the Thanksgiving Day Holiday.
- Be aware of the Tree Lighting and Advent Wreath Blessings on Saturday, November 29 & Sunday, November 30 (see below).
- Don't forget our parish Giving Tree project which will start next weekend (see below).
- Deepen your prayer life in Advent with our Advent Speaker Series and Friday Night Adoration (see below).
Together, we'll be make the holidays a time where we can all grow together in joy, happiness, and holiness.

Celebrating the Season
Saint Andrew will have a Christmas Tree anchored in the middle of the school yard turf this season and will celebrate the lighting of the tree on Saturday, November 29 after the 4:00pm Mass. All are welcome to join!
We will also continue the tradition of decorating our household Advent wreaths with fresh greenery and a blessing of wreaths after the 9:00am Mass on Sunday, November 30. As in years past, we have wreaths that you can purchase for $28 by clicking on the button below. Wreaths are picked up during the blessing in the gymnasium.
Advent - A Chance to Grow In Faith
The Liturgical Seasons of the Church are wonderous times for us to give special attention to our spiritual lives. At Saint Andrew, we will have our annual Advent Speaker Series on Tuesday nights - December 9 and 16 to guide our thoughts and prayers in Advent. We will also offer the chance to pray before the Blessed Sacrament on Friday nights in Advent from 7pm to 8pm. Please make plans to join us!
The Giving Tree Project
Thank you for all the help cutting out ornaments for our Giving Trees this past weekend! Keep an eye out for our trees which will be up and stocked with ornaments starting the weekend of November 22nd and 23rd. The Giving Trees will be located in the back of the Church and in the school, outside the main office. Pick up an an ornament and return it to the rectory with gifts of warm mittens, hats, or scarves to keep children warm this winter.
We're called to participate fully in Mass by engagement with our mind, our heart, and our lived experiences through and with each other. Each week, a catechist from Saint Andrew invites us to join in the conversation question asked in the book "Celebrating Sunday Mass with Families 2025-26" from Liturgy Training Publications.
