Religious Education this Sunday November 23 for the Kindergarten thru 8th grade programs will be done at-home.
Students will be able to complete chapter 9 as guided by their parents or guardians. Please use the Chapter 9 links found below this email as a way to demonstrate completion by the student.
As you enter into Thanksgiving break, please be mindful that some of the downtime from school and extracurricular activities is a good time to catch up on missed chapters from the Finding God text books.

The Giving Tree Project
Keep an eye out for our trees which will be up and stocked with ornaments starting the weekend of November 22nd and 23rd. The Giving Trees will be located in the back of the Church and in the school, outside the main office. Pick up an ornament and return it to the rectory with gifts of warm mittens, hats, or scarves to keep children warm this winter.
The Saint Andrew Novena will begin on Saturday, November 22 and end on the Feast of Saint Andrew on November 30.
Parishioners can pick up novena cards at church with a prayer to say once every day during the entire novena.

Novena Prayer to Saint Andrew
Dear Lord, we thank You for giving us St. Andrew the Apostle
as an example of holiness.
Help us to imitate his openness to Your call in our own lives, that we may be as ready to serve You as he was.
St. Andrew, you were one of the first people to be called personally by Our Lord.
He called you and your brother St. Peter to leave behind your lives as fishermen and to follow Him as Apostles.
You followed His call to become “fishers of men.” And you remained faithful to that call,
staying with Him throughout His ministry and spreading the Gospel after His death.
You probably never would have guessed that you would be invited to be one of the
closest friends of the Son of God, but you left everything behind in order to follow Him.
Pray for me, that I may be as ready to serve Christ as you were.

I find it best if you put your own email into the online form first and then forward the email that you will receive from Loyola Press to us at re@standrew.org. That way, you’ll know that the results was sent to us. (Please be advised that emails from Loyola Press may go straight to your “junk” or “spam” folder. So don’t forget to check them too.
