The take-your-breath-away cold isn't a surprise - after all, we live in Chicago! - but it was a reminder that we're still full into winter. Please pray for those who make their livelihood working outside, and for those who are unhoused and endure harsh, cold nights in the open.
In weather like this, we treasure the warmth inside Saint Andrew Parish. Not only the warmth provided by our relatively-new boilers, but also the warmth of God's love and the warmth of our parish family gathered together in worship. The Church in Latin America
The bishops of the United States established the annual Collection for the Church in Latin America as a practical expression of unity and love for their brothers and sisters in Central and South America and the islands of the Caribbean. There will be a second collection at all Masses for this fund at all the Masses this weekend. You can also make a donation online.
Superschool Pancake Breakfast!
Super School Sunday is tomorrow, Sunday, January 25, 2026 and is the official kickoff to Catholic Schools Week. We are excited to celebrate with our community! We will begin with Mass at 9am, followed by a pancake breakfast in the gym. School tours for prospective families and an open house for current families will both begin at 10:30. Presale ticket sales are now over, but you may purchase your breakfast at the door. Come join us!
Saint Andrew Young Adults 2026 Kickoff
Calling all parishioners in their 20's & 30's! Saint Andrew Young Adults (SAYA) is looking for your input as our service and social group plans evenings, outings, and events for the upcoming year.

We're called to participate fully in Mass by engagement with our mind, our heart, and our lived experiences through and with each other. Each week, a catechist from Saint Andrew invites us to join in the conversation question asked in the book "Celebrating Sunday Mass with Families 2025-26" from Liturgy Training Publications.
