The old saying about Chicago is that if you don’t like the weather, wait 15 minutes and it will change. As we move back and forth from sunny and mild temperatures yesterday to cold and chilly today, that saying seems very true!
The one thing that doesn’t change, however, is God’s love. It is what we come to appreciate more deeply through our Lenten journey to Easter. Through prayer, fasting, and giving to those in need, we prepare our hearts so that they may radiate God’s love in all we do.

Totus Tuus - Summer Camp for Children
Totus Tuus is a summer, week-long Catholic youth program dedicated to sharing the Gospel and promoting the Catholic faith through evangelization, catechesis, apologetics, Christian witness, the sacraments, Marian devotion and Eucharistic worship for students entering grades one through 12. The program strives to help young people understand their faith through catechesis, so they may live in today’s world through a “parish mission” for the young students of the parish, all with a strong emphasis on fun. Night of Mercy
Join us for a Lenten Mission on Friday, March 13, 2026 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm led by the Franciscans of the Eucharist. The time will be filled with prayer, adoration, confession and music. Take some time to grow in your relationship with God this Lent with fellow members of your parish!

and (family-focused) 9:00am,
11:00am, and 5:00pm on Sundays.
Daily Mass is celebrated in the church at 9:00am

PRAY -- FAST -- GIVE
Part of our Lenten practice is through prayer, to sacrifice (fast) so that we have more in our abundance to give. Every year, the proceeds from our fasting are collected as a parish on Holy Thursday to give to a specific charity. This year, our Holy Thursday collection will go to the Mission of Our Lady of the Angels in Humboldt Park to be distributed to the material needs of those served by the Franciscans of the Eucharist. Please be mindful throughout Lent to prepare a sacrificial gift for this collection.
