Parish Fish Fry
The second parish fish fry for Saint Andrew will take place on Friday, March 27, 2026 from 5-8pm in the Saint Andrew Gymnasium. We're called to participate fully in Mass by engagement with our mind, our heart, and our lived experiences through and with each other. Each week, a catechist from Saint Andrew invites us to join in the conversation question asked in the book "Celebrating Sunday Mass with Families 2025-26" from Liturgy Training Publications. PRAY -- FAST -- GIVE
Part of our Lenten practice is through prayer, to sacrifice (fast) so that we have more in our abundance to give. Every year, the proceeds from our fasting are collected as a parish on Holy Thursday to give to a specific charity. This year, our Holy Thursday collection will go to the Mission of Our Lady of the Angels in Humboldt Park to be distributed to the material needs of those served by the Franciscans of the Eucharist. Please be mindful throughout Lent to prepare a sacrificial gift for this collection.
