Dear Friend,
Happy Easter!
We hope that the celebration of Christ's rising from the dead meets you with joy and and a sense of awe for the great love that God has bestowed on us!
More than just a date on a calendar or another extended weekend, Easter is the reason that Christians sustain their joy. Death has been overcome. Sin no longer has a hold on us. With the capitulation of humanity's worst fears dispersed, all remaining fears, all temporal concerns, while important and requiring our attention, are also fleeting. We can rejoice because God's love reigns over all. Alleluia!
As we enter into this feast, we will have blessing of Easter baskets this morning (Saturday, April 4) at 11:00am in the church and later this evening, the glorious celebration of the Easter Vigil tonight at 7:30pm.
If you cannot join us for the vigil, we hope that you will be able to join us to celebrate Easter at 9:00am (livestreamed) and 11:00am Easter morning. A reminder that there is no 5:00pm Mass on Easter Sunday.
