Dear Friend,
We're happy to announce that Archbishop Cardinal Cupich has sent a letter confirming the previously expected appointment of Fr. Hank Lyon to serve as pastor at Saint Andrew Parish. Fr. Hank's appointment during the last year was to serve as parish administrator (which functions as pastor) in anticipation of him being named pastor starting July 1, 2026.
Please congratulate him when you see him!
With this appointment now confirmed, we will look forward to an upcoming installation Mass at a date yet to be announced to celebrate this appointment with our local bishop.
This gives us much to celebrate as we enter into July and look forward to Independence Day and the 250th birthday of our nation next week. We have many things to be grateful for!

Young Adult Gathering
Young adults in their 20s and 30s are invited to the social gatherings held with SAYA (Saint Andrew Young Adults) The next event will be held on Sunday, June 27 after the 5:00pm Mass. Join us for a bonfire with s'mores, hotdogs, and drinks while we catch up around the campfire :) See you there!
Religious Education Registration is Now Open!
For students who do not attend Saint Andrew School, we offer Religious Education for grades K-8 and preparation for the Sacrament of First Reconciliation, First Eucharist, and Confirmation. Inspire the Next Generation
We are looking for volunteer catechists (teachers) to help teach children in our K-6 Religious Education program. The request is to assist 12 Sundays from 10:00am to 10:50am over the course of 8 months. You'll see the smile of God in each face and feel the reward of passing along the gift of Faith to others. NEW OFFICE SCHEDULE FOR SUMMER
The parish office will begin using summer office hours starting Monday, June 22, 2026. The office will be open from 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday thru Friday and from 9:00am to 3:00pm on Saturday. The office is closed on Sundays.
The parish office will be closed on Friday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth.
