E-Bulletin - May 6, 2019
Welcome to May! It is an exciting month in our neighborhood and in the city. It seems like all sorts of life is popping out and just in time! We are filled with celebrations of First Communions, weddings, graduations, and we are getting ready for an exciting summer ahead!
It may be self-evident to many, but if you need the reminder, this coming Sunday is Mother's Day. We rejoice with all mothers this important day and ask for your continued prayers for them. We recall our own mothers, some of whom have passed on, though we feel their presence still. And we also keep in prayer those who have not been able to have children for whatever reason. Mothers Day can be a day of both joy and grief, gratitude and anxiety. In all of it, we are reminded to model ourselves after Mary, who gave of herself so that Jesus might have life. May all of us, male and female, do the same.
Here are a few important notices from the parish for the week ahead.

We have been so blessed in recent weeks of hearing from visitors who say "What a great place Saint Andrew is!" That's very affirming to hear and a message we hope you hear too. We also hope you will share that message with friends and neighbors. Many people are looking for a spiritual home. Without being pushy, its alright to invite them here. Our community is always enriched when we have the honor to provide service to, with, for, and by one more household! They can always learn more about joining the community on our website's
