And tomorrow morning, don't forget that we are having our first Family Mass for the school year, as we also bless our catechist.
Key notifications for the week ahead at Saint Andrew Parish are listed below.
Annual Seminarian Appeal
This weekend at all our Masses we will hold our annual second collection for the Seminarian Education Fund. The fund provides support for the training and education of men studying for priesthood in the Archdiocese of Chicago. We're also privileged to have Andrew Bilgri and Sean Sullivan, the two seminarians who are assigned to Saint Andrew Parish, speak with us about their experience at the seminary and the need for support.
K of C Tootsie Rolls
On the weekend of September 26 and 27, after all the masses, the Knights of Columbus will be outside of the Church collecting for their Annual Intellectual Disabilities Drive. All of the funds collected, except for the cost of the candy, go directly to organized groups that service the needs of the intellectually disabled and learning disabled in local parishes, such as parish SPRED programs, as well as in the community groups and the Special Olympics.
