Congratulations to Saint Andrew School on being named
a 2026 Governor's Blue Ribbon School!
Dear Friend,
As we approach the season of Halloween, we are having our own parish-based spooky celebration this evening, Saturday, October 24 2026, at our annual Trunk-or-Treating from 5:00pm to 6:30pm in our parish parking lot on Addison Avenue, just east of the gymnasium. Children of all ages are invited to come in their Halloween costumes and receive treats from the many families who have decorated their automotive trunks for this occasion. It is always a great event to attend and is timed perfectly for families to go to the Saturday evening 4:00pm Mass prior to the festivities.
And as we get closer to the season, we are also reminded that at the center of this season, is the Catholic commemoration of All Saints Day, celebrated on November 1st. Pope Leo recently said at a Vatican conference that "the history of the world without saints would be immeasurably poorer and less human."
We look to the saints not only for their constant intercession but for the hope they bring us as models of holiness who show us that everyone is called to be holy. May our lives, like theirs, enrich our world with the joyful wonder of humanity's many possibilities!
Key notifications for the week ahead at Saint Andrew Parish are listed below.
