Youth Group Plan of Amazingness!
Want to know what's happening at
Youth Group this year?
Well here it is...
- Trivia Night (4-5:15pm)
Find out how quickly you can remember the answers to these tricky trivia questions and games. Hosted by our awesome youth mentors, Bryce and Maren! Duh, there are prizes...
- Deserts and Desserts (4-5:15pm)
Although it doesn’t always feel like it, all good things are worth waiting for. Come to a night of reflection on what it’s like to make your way through a spiritual desert while we share some yummy desserts!
- Rock Climbing at First Ascent (4-7pm)
Jesus retreats to the mountaintop to get some perspective - can you make the climb with him? Please note: We will be traveling to First Ascent (Avondale) for rock climbing via public transit after gathering at Saint Andrew. Parental agreement on a waiver is required.
- Stress Less Sunday (4-5:15pm)
It’s getting close to the end of the school year, and only you know what you need! This is a Youth Group open house: you can bring your homework, play a game, watch a movie, or take some time to quiet down with prayer.
- NCYC Send-Off Blessing (5:30pm mass)
Those students attending NCYC from Saint Andrew will receive a blessing and special send-off from our community at the 5:30pm mass.
- Advent(ure) Awaits (4-5:15pm)
What is Advent, and why do we take so long to meditate on getting ready for Christmas? What kind of preparation are you doing for the big events in your life? And why do we have to WAIT for everything?? Get some answers at this meeting.
- A Very Early Christmas Party (*Earlier time!*: 3-5:15pm)
Exactly what it sounds like! We’ll play the classic film, The Muppet Christmas Carol, as we decorate sugar cookies and do a White Elephant gift exchange before we go on break for Christmas. Prizes for most religious cookie and ugliest cookie.
Keep this in mind…!
