We have a parish family facing a serious medical diagnosis, and are in need of meals for an extended period of time. Two volunteers are working with Meals from the Heart to make support possible.
Please sign up to provide meals using this link:
One of the family members has an egg allergy, so please avoid recipes with eggs, and there is a cooler on the family's porch for deliveries! Other opportunities to help the family will be posted through this site.
Christmas Cleaning Party
Sunday, December 15,
after the 5:30pm mass
Join us for our third annual Christmas Cleaning Party. Stay after the 5:30pm mass to prepare God's house to celebrate the birth of Jesus. We'll sweep and mop the tile areas, and dust the pews, all while listening to our favorite Christmas music. Bring your favorite holiday treat to share afterward in the Social Hall - the parish will provide pizza and beverages! All ages are welcome.
Hospitality for Christmas Masses
All masses, December 24 and 25
For many of our visitors, coming to church at Christmas may be an overwhelming experience. Help Saint Andrew be the welcoming place we love by signing up to be a Greeter or Usher for the Christmas masses. We need people to assist in finding open seats, locating the restroom, and answering questions about the mass or our parish.
This may be the only time some of our guests enter a church all year - help us make them feel at home!
To sign up, contact Pastoral Ministry Asst., Megan Daigle:
Leadership Opportunity -
Fish Fry Co-Chair
Saint Andrew Hosts two amazing Fish Fry Dinners each Lent. If you've been, you know how much fun they are - and you can be part of creating that joy!
We are looking for a co-chair to assist our current chairperson, Nicci Fagan. This person will work hand in hand with a pre-established committee of volunteers. and with the support of Events and Fundraising Coordinator, Julie Richards.
The Co-Chair should be available to be on location for the dates of the events to assist with set up and clean up, participate in shopping for the events at Restaurant Depot (oil, baskets, condiments, etc), and help recruit new volunteers.
It's a fun and easy way to put in service hours for the Parish/School. This role takes no more than 10-15 hours total for both events.
The dates for this upcoming year are:
Friday, Feb 28, 2020
Friday, April 3, 2020
