E-Bulletin - March 23, 2020
We hope you are doing well during the "stay at home" order placed on our community. The past week has been an huge transition for everyone. Stay safe!
At Saint Andrew, we are doing our best to keep you updated on the changes to our parish operations and the ways we can continue to be community together.
First, we are pleased to share that Saint Andrew will provide a "
Your Sunday Connection
" flocknote email each week that will include the Scripture readings, a video homily from Fr. Sergio, prayers of the faithful, and more. We hope this resource helps us pray and feel united as a community, even though we may be physically apart.
We will also share a flocknote with prayer resources for Palm Sunday, Holy Week, Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter. We are following the guidance of the Archdiocese of Chicago to suspend these public religious services. We hope that our emails will enable us to gather in spirit.

Pray the Angelus
Many people are looking for ways to connect to God in this time of social distancing. In villages and towns of yesteryear, the bells of the church would ring at noon as a sign for everyone to pray together the Angelus, wherever you were. Today we don't always hear the bells, but we can send you a text message using Flocknote at noon as a reminder to pray in spirit with others this simple prayer. To sign up for this virtual prayer reminder,
and add your phone number to the prompts.
Send Us Your Intentions
While we remain in the "stay at home" order, your prayers and petitions will be offered by our priests at Mass. If you would like, a candle can also be lit inside the church on your behalf. Send us your intentions through this
As a final thought, please note that Saint Andrew Parish depends on the weekly offertory to meet the parish's operating costs. Without the opportunity to hold a collection at Mass this past Sunday and for several Sundays to come, there is significant concern about our ongoing finances.
If you give to our parish electronically, THANK YOU! If not, please drop your donation in the mail to us at Saint Andrew Parish, 3546 N. Paulina, Chicago, IL 60657 or take this opportunity to give electronically either now or on a weekly or monthly basis.
For your convenience, we've included a copy of yesterday's bulletin below.
