E-Bulletin - May 18, 2020
We hope you are doing well in the midst of the stay-at-home orders for the city of Chicago. Please keep looking out for one another, avoid leaving your home unless necessary, wash your hands, and wear a mask! These inconveniences are sacrifices that we make for one another out of love and charity towards the most vulnerable. Please let us know if you have any needs, especially if someone is sick and needs the consolation of prayer or someone to talk to.
As you will read below, the parish will be working toward the reopening of some sacramental celebrations in the week ahead. If you have the immediate need of Baptism or Confession please let us know as soon as possible by emailing us at
Here are a couple of key notifications for Saint Andrew Parish for the week ahead.
When Will the Church Open?
In the past week, the Archdiocese of Chicago set compliance guidelines and a schedule for parishes to reopen. This extensive process will take several weeks if not months to fully implement, but certain services will be available potentially within the week. Fr. Sergio addresses the process and how it will impact Saint Andrew parish in the his pastoral letter. The process of reopening also depends on volunteers who are willing to be trained and help the reopening process. The details to volunteer for this are also in the pastoral letter. Do Something Fun and Creative!

Get some crayons, pencils, or markers and get started today! To download the coloring book,

As a final thought, Saint Andrew Parish depends on the weekly offertory to meet the parish's operating costs. For the last several weeks, our weekly collections have been down an average of $3,000 per week. This loss of revenue inhibits our ability to succeed at our mission.
If you give to our parish electronically, THANK YOU! If not, please drop your donation in the mail to us at Saint Andrew Parish, 3546 N. Paulina, Chicago, IL 60657 or take this opportunity to give electronically either now or on a weekly or monthly basis.
For your convenience, we've included a copy of yesterday's bulletin below.
